The Electrical Engineer will manage the electrical and instrumentation systems at the manufacturing facility. This involves ensuring that all parts work together seamlessly and efficiently. This position will troubleshoot issues with existing electrical & instrumentation systems, identify weaknesses or inefficiencies, and come up with innovative solutions to improve performance, reliability, or safety. This role will support our Adsorbents & Additives Business Unit in Quincy, FL.


Responsibilities

  • As the Electrical Engineer in charge, you will manage all electrical work and provide daily direction for 2 Instrumentation and Electrical technicians (E&I) Techs and 2 electricians.
  • Develop and direct electrical integrity program for all electrical equipment
  • Provide Direction and troubleshooting support for Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians as well as the union electricians.
  • Provide support and/or manage the electrical portion of capital projects.
  • Develop training program for E&I Techs and electricians.
  • Oversee and insure completion of all regulatory requirements for the electrical systems

Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering is Required
  • 5 Years of Industrial Experience and/or management experience is a plus
  • Additional skills in medium voltage equipment, SAP, and PLC's is a plus
  • The ability to operate in a complex environment
  • Troubleshooting instrumentation and medium voltage equipment will be required
