The BMW Automotive Manufacturing Certification Program allows participants to attend class at Spartanburg Community College while working part-time hours at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC. The program is 1 year in length.
Participation allows students to further their education while gaining valuable experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment and become potential candidates for full-time positions at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC. Students will spend their time working and training in a Production Associate role.
The program can support the ability of students to work in rotations between the manufacturing departments of the Body, Paint, and Assembly Shops. Upon successful completion of the program, the participants will obtain an offer as a full-time Production Associate within the plant. Graduates will also have completed almost half of the credits required for an Associate Degree from the college.
Starting wage is $21.00 per hour, training costs are covered each semester while in the program. Medical and prescription coverage is available.
